Even without watching it, I already know about that guy.

Have you seen the movie Jesus Camp?
This guy scares me.
For realz, yo.

I'll watch it later, but I know what this guy's about.
He represents a lot of what it wrong in Christianity,
and the thing I'm really trying to rally AGAINST in my life.

But like I said, I'll watch the whole thing tomorrow.
Seriously, watch Jesus Camp.
It'll scare the poop out of you.

i watched jesus freaks... im trying to decide what i dislike about it so much... and i think its cuz its not a very loving message they are teaching and it doesnt seem very christ-like... also, they are very political and their worship is very crazy and i dont think god likes all of that

i really did like the fact that these little kids were completely on fire about christ though.... especially that main kid, levi... his worship wasnt ridiculous and you can almost SEE god working through him its amazing

You're not talking about the poor kid with the tail, are you?
He may love Jesus, who knows?
Because he says so?
Kids say what they've been told.
We have NO way of knowing if he even knows what that means.

Q:What does loving Jesus mean to YOU?

Did you hear the comments he made about "non-believers"
and how there's a sickness to them or something like that?

Q: Do you think we should talk that way about non-Christians, even if it WERE true?
Especially on a documentary that's going to be seen by possibly millions of people?

That and many other things he said and did make me so angry at his parents,
and I could not find any spirit of love in that movie.
The guy on the radio seemed to get it, though.

And that woman represents so many things that are wrong with Christianity it's not even funny.

In my opinion, there was nothing "on fire".
Those kids were trying to gain their parents' approval.
Just my opinion, guys.

hmmm... idk i think a lot of them were but i mean u can just tell if the spirit is working and it really looks like it in a lot of them, even if they use it in a creepy way ... that one little girl who messes up her talking a lot is a little freak

I think if the "Spirit is working", you'll find that person showing love and kindness, not just "on fire", whatever that even means.
I know what that MEANS, but I'm not sure I'm buying.

The ability to actually be gentle, kind, loving, and giving of self are signs
that the Holy Spirit is at work.

No, these are innocent little kids.
Their parents are actually PROUD of them for their judgments against
"non-Christians", if I remember correctly.
I think there's a lot of self-doubt and second-guessing going on
inside these poor kids' minds.
What they're being taught is a twisted version of the Gospel.
I don't remember once hearing that "pastor" say anything about loving your
neighbor and accepting someone's sinfulness in the way Jesus did.
It seemed to be focused on "right and wrong" and something about "leading different lives" during the week or some bullshit like that.
To KIDS!
I underSTAND the battle of temptation.
I mean, look at MY life, LOL.
But to go to those extremes with beautiful children?
No way, man.
It's sick.

yea i see what you mean now. But that one little kid that i was talking about that i think is good, the only time u ever saw him interact with people he was way too nice. You never see him interact with non christians because the movie's about the camp, but i know he's a good kid and u can just tell by his words. Kids dont just come up with stuff like what he says
