Unqualified Books?

Apparently, the Protestants took some books out of the Bible. Why?

The Catholics took out some books. Why?


Was there a certain reason? Did these go against what the Church thought was "morally right"? Could it have been that including these books would give the Church a bad name? Maybe they found errors in those books and decided they weren't true?

I really don't know...I haven't looked into Martin Luther all that much.

You saying it in all these threads is the first time I've ever heard anything like that.
I don't believe that to be the case.

I can't answer the other questions because I feel they're irrelevant since The Catholic Church (as far as I know)
did not REMOVE books from the Bible.

Now, Martin Luther is a different story.
I'll check around on that subject eventually, but I don't feel we have progressed far enough
in our other debate yet, since the big question has not been addressed or answered.
